Smith Foundry Company launches New Website for CastExpo

The American Foundry Society hosted CastExpo’16 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis on April 16th through 19th.The four-day event featured more than 460 exhibitors on the show floor, keynote speeches, technical presentations and AFS institute courses.  Held every three years, CastExpo is the largest trade show and exposition for metalcasting in the Americas and more than 6,000 metalcasters attended this year's show.

Being on our own home turf, we at Smith Foundry Company endeavored to put our best foot forward and help represent our fine city and our local community of metalcasters and manufacturers.  Between our booth and the many of our employees who visited the show during its four day run, I think we accomplished that.  As well, we took the event for an opportunity to refresh our online presence, to coincide with our efforts at the show.

To all of our friends and clients who came to visit us, we thank you deeply.  The four days were tremendously successful on all accounts, and it was a great deal of fun to see everyone outside the normal province of our offices and shop floors.

For those of our friends and clients who were unable to visit, I encourage you to visit our new website at http://smithfoundry.com.

There, you can learn more about us than you might guess.  Yes, we have designed our portal to make it easy for your to submit requests for quotes or to ask us questions, but as well, you can learn about Smith Foundry’s proud history; the attributes of our company that make us successful and unique, both in term of our technical acumen as well as our culture of customer centricity; the accolades we have received for the fine work we have produced for our customers over the years; and the many ways Smith Foundry can help you exceed the expectations of your own customers.

Our presence at this year’s CastExpo and the re-design of our company website are steps taken to bring us closer to you, the customer, with many more to follow.  I hope you, like us, will consider them steps taken with best foot forward.
